W+@CS is the network for women and gender diverse students and staff in UCD’s School of Computer Science. We host networking events, career development workshops, and community-building activities during the academic year.

Women+@CompSci brings together students from all Stages, PhD researchers, research staff, academic staff, and administrative staff, to build a community where everyone can thrive in the School.
We are committed to being an inclusive and respectful space, and offering activities designed to help you achieve your professional goals.
We're committed to building a supportive, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone in our community. To help make that real, we ask all members and participants to hold these principles:
This group is primarily for women and all gender-marginalised people in the School of Computer Science, including cisgender and trans women, trans men, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals. We aim to centre and uplift these voices in everything we do. Allies are always welcome.
We value diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives, and expect everyone to engage with curiosity, empathy, and kindness.
If you're here as an ally, we're glad to have you. We ask that you listen, learn, and use your voice to support others while respecting the space created for gender-marginalised individuals.
Discriminatory, exclusionary, or harassing behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Everyone should feel safe to share, learn, and grow here.

A panel of successful women in industry shared their journeys and advice on building your professional identity in tech.

A relaxed coffee morning for members, staff, and researchers to catch up and meet new people across the department.

We kicked off the year with a relaunch — new committee, new events calendar, and a room full of familiar and new faces.
