In 2019, UCD's School of Computer Science launched Women@CompSci. Founded by Prof. Catherine Mooney, the network aimed to foster a greater sense of belonging for women studying or working in the School.
In 2025, the network officially became “Women+@CompSci”. It now offers career-oriented and community-building events for women and gender-diverse students and staff in the School.

Today, W+@CS runs industry talks, alumni panels, career development workshops, coffee mornings, and more – connecting students of all Stages with PhD researchers and members of staff.
